Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an ECM Head of Innovation to lead AI-enabled transformation, working with NT’s AI tooling and capabilities to drive influence, compliance, transparency and productivity improvements across the Enterprise Change Management Office.

The role combines technical depth with business acumen, designing future-state operating models, embedding AI and automation into core processes, and guiding adoption with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Experience implementing AI copilots, agentic workflows, RAG architectures, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and prompt engineering concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP preferred.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Platform, or similar.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment across business, technology, risk, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive future-state operating models leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency and risk management.
• Embed AI, data products and automation alongside ECM delivery pillars and business teams.
• Develop integrations, APIs, and automation workflows connecting enterprise systems and data assets.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and platform teams to ensure scalable, supportable solutions.
• Lead change management strategies and create adoption and readiness tools across NT.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration

Advanced degree or certification in Program Management (PMP, CAPM) and/or Organizational Change Management (CCMP, CMS)
