The Chamberlain Group is seeking a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering to lead the Builder Tools and Governed Agent Platform, guiding Forward Deployed Engineers and ensuring AI-driven automation aligns with guardrails.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software or platform engineering with leadership experience.
• Hands-on production experience with LLM/agent-based systems.
• Experience building internal developer platforms and CI/CD at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for Builder Tools to scale AI usage.
• Lead design and delivery of the Governed Agent Platform and related components.
• Ship and operate production agents (Triage, Fix, Watch) with proper policies and telemetry.
• Close cross-stack telemetry gaps by threading IDs across monitoring systems.
• Own governance for token and compute cost, and optimize for cheaper models.
