Job summary

The Chamberlain Group LLC is seeking a senior leader to own the Builder Tools vision and guide the governed Agent Platform, including Cloud Agents, per-agent identity, and a Cortex index. You will lead Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure alignment with our AI-driven Builder Tools guardrails.

Responsibilities include deploying production agents, closing telemetry gaps, and governing token costs, while reporting progress to executives and ensuring strong platform health and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering; advanced degree can substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
• 7+ years in software/platform engineering with 2+ years leading teams.
• Hands-on production experience with LLM/agent-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for Builder Tools enabling AI scale for engineers.
• Lead design/delivery of the governed Agent Platform components.
• Ship/operate Self-Healing System production agents (Triage, Fix, Watch).
• Close telemetry gaps across Datadog/OpenTelemetry with FD AI engineers.
• Own governance of token/compute costs and optimize model usage.
• Track platform-health metrics and correlate cross-system data.
• Represent platform roadmap in architecture reviews and exec reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health/safety and confidentiality policies.
• Maintain cutting-edge knowledge and contribute to team goals.
• Collaborate with leadership and engineers across the org.
