Job summary

• Two+ years of healthcare admissions experience.
• RN license or Master’s degree in a clinical field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
• Behavioral health knowledge and experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the admission function and clinical evaluation of prospective patients.
• Coordinate psychiatric assessments with medical staff and the Call Center team; verify referrals and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards for admissions.
• Lead staffing, hiring, orientation, performance assessment, coaching, scheduling and training.
• Manage department finances, budgets and billing coordination with the Business Office.
• Develop and nurture relationships with payers, physicians and providers to improve admissions workflow.
