Raleigh Oaks Behavioral Health in Garner, North Carolina, is seeking an Intake RN for the day shift to manage admissions, screenings, and assessments. You will collaborate with clinical teams, perform insurance verification, and coordinate pre-authorizations to ensure timely admissions.

Required are an RN license (state or compact), CPR, and de-escalation training. BSN preferred; on-site work only with no remote option. Experience in mental health admissions is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• One or more years' experience in mental health admissions preferred.
• BSN preferred and RN license required.
• CPR and de-escalation training required (training available on hire).

Responsabilités

• Facilitates admissions and assessments for incoming patients.
• Performs initial screenings and prepares documentation for admission.
• Coordinates with medical and psychiatric staff to determine level of care.
• Verifies insurance and pre-authorizations during high-volume times.
• Maintains medication administration records and safety protocols as ordered.
