Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• One or more years' experience in mental health admissions preferred.
• Experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, referral, treatment planning, communicating with external review entities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates admissions and assessment processes for incoming patients.
• Collaborates with facility staff to ensure appropriate admissions.
• Provides coverage for call center duties during high volume times.
• Obtains necessary medical admission documentation and pre-authorizations.
• Reviews charts to determine medical necessity and coordinates with physicians.
