Wheaton College, located in Norton, Massachusetts, seeks a dynamic Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach to lead a competitive NCAA Division III program. The Head Coach will organize practices, recruit student‑athletes, manage budgets, and ensure academic progress while complying with NCAA and NEWMAC regulations.
The role requires 3–5 years of head coaching experience preferred, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
The federal government and the state of Massachusetts have made the decision to end the COVID-19 public health emergency. Wheaton College, an NCAA institution located in Norton, Massachusetts, is looking for a motivated, energetic, passionate, and caring individual to lead our highly competitive men’s lacrosse program. The Head Coach prepares the team for a full intercollegiate varsity season. Develop a recruiting plan and evaluate and identify qualified student‑athletes. Prepare and manage operating, recruiting, and fundraising budgets. Commitment to working and teaching within an environment that embraces the holistic development of the student‑athlete. Serve in an administrative capacity and have a secondary duty as directed by the Athletic Administration. Comply with all NCAA Division III , NEWMAC and Wheaton College rules and regulations.

When determining and establishing hiring rates or recruitment ranges for a position, the College considers a number of factors including the budget for the position, the range of the grade, the external market for the position or similar positions, level and scope of responsibilities, required education, skills and relevant experience as well as internal equity. All salary offers must have the prior approval of the Office of Human Resources. The anticipated hiring or recruitment range for this position is $55-$62K. The actual salary offered will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience of the candidate hired.
