Job summary

Chattanooga College MDTC seeks a Head Librarian and Learning Resource Coordinator to lead library and learning resources for campus and online students. You will oversee resource development, instruction, research support, and digital access management to enhance instruction and outcomes.

Role requires extensive knowledge of databases, catalogs, policy compliance, and collaboration with faculty, staff, and leadership to advance equity and student success.

Qualifications

• MLS/MLIS degree required with relevant library experience.
• 3+ years in academic library services or learning resources.
• Experience with accreditation evidence and learning support coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide research, instruction, and resource support to students and faculty.
• Lead information literacy and collection development activities.
• Counsel and support on research consultations and workshops.
• Educate on library resources, search techniques, and AI tools.
• Maintain library systems, catalogs, and digital access tools.
• Collaborate with departments and coordinate learning services.
