Job summary

Chattanooga College MDTC seeks a Campus Director to lead academic operations on our Chattanooga campus. You will oversee program directors, faculty, and staff to ensure instructional quality, student progress, and compliance with accreditation standards.

The role requires a master’s degree and proven leadership in higher education, with a track record of improving retention, graduation outcomes, and collaboration with deans, registrar, and career services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, higher education administration, healthcare, business administration, or a field relevant to the College’s programs.
• Preferred: Doctorate in education, leadership, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior academic leadership and support to a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.
• Implements strategic priorities related to instructional quality, faculty performance, student retention, completion, engagement, and accreditation compliance.
• Counsels, advises, or supports individuals through sessions addressing academic concerns within delegated authority.
• Educates individuals on institutional resources, policies, and expectations.
• Implements solutions and technology to promote efficiency, access, and academic success.
• Completes professional development and training annually.
• Supports initiatives in student services and tutoring referrals.
• Maintains accurate documentation in compliance with accreditation and federal requirements.
• Collaborates with Deans, Registrar, Student Services, and Career Services to increase engagement and success.
• Provides referrals for personal, social, and academic concerns.
• Upholds confidentiality and complies with policies and regulations.
• Assists with planning events such as Orientation and Graduation.
• Maintains facilities and resources to support learning activities.
• Stays current on guidelines and accreditation standards.
• Coordinates with Provost and President.
