Job summary

Roosevelt High in Des Moines is seeking a part-time HS Wrestling Head Coach (stet) for the 26-27 school year. The position provides an $7,880 stipend and requires leading the athletic program, coordinating practice schedules, and maintaining eligibility records.

Applicants must hold a valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization and demonstrate strong communication, coaching/leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate with staff and families.

• Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
• Coaching and/or leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the athletic program
• Develop a regular practice schedule for individual and team development
• Coach players on the rules, equipment, and techniques of the sport
• Monitor student eligibility and maintain records
