Qualifications

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field or a 4-year degree or a 2-year degree with 1+ years related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing.
• Long hours and high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Effective communication with guests and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of the Housekeeping Department in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Respond to guest requests, problems and complaints promptly and follow up for satisfaction.
• Motivate, coach, and discipline Housekeeping personnel per SOPs.
• Maintain cleaning programs, checklists and inventory control.
• Balance and review payroll hours and assist in staff scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and safety policies.
• Conduct interviews and participate in hiring procedures.
