Job summary

Gallup-Mckinley County Schools seeks an Athletic Coach – Head Baseball for Navajo Pine High School for SY2026-2027. On-site position, SpringSport contract with duties guiding student-athletes in baseball, conditioning, and game strategy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, and must hold or obtain an Athletic Coaching License 7-12 and complete the Fundamentals of Coaching online exam through NM Activities Association. Evening and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Must hold or obtain Athletic Coaching License 7-12 (NM).
• Complete Fundamentals of Coaching online exam through NM Activities Association.

Responsibilities

• Report to athletic director and align with principals.
• Oversee a staff of head/assistant coaches at high school and middle school levels.
• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training.
• Teach rules and enforce regulations; work evenings and weekends.
