Job summary

FlowerHire is seeking a hands-on Head Grower to lead all greenhouse cannabis cultivation activities from propagation to harvest. You will optimize environmental conditions, manage wet wall cooling and fertigation systems, and drive high-volume production at commercial scale.

The role requires 5+ years of cannabis cultivation leadership, deep knowledge of humidity/VPD management, irrigation programs, and IPM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Greenhouse cultivation experience with wet wall climate control systems and Dosatron injection/fertigation systems.
• Strong understanding of humidity control, VPD, irrigation management, nutrient programs, and environmental optimization.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality flower while meeting production and yield targets.
• Experience managing cultivation teams in a fast-paced, regulated cannabis environment.

Responsibilities

Head Grower - Greenhouse Cannabis Cultivation

We are seeking an experienced Head Grower to lead all aspects of greenhouse cannabis cultivation with a strong emphasis on environmental control, plant health, and high-volume production. This role requires hands-on experience operating greenhouse systems, optimizing climate conditions, and producing premium-quality flower at commercial scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all cultivation activities from propagation through harvest within a commercial greenhouse environment.
• Manage environmental controls, including wet wall cooling systems, ventilation, and humidity management to maximize plant health and yield.
• Operate and optimize Dosatron fertigation systems, ensuring accurate nutrient delivery, irrigation scheduling, and EC/pH management.
• Develop and execute integrated pest management (IPM), crop steering, and irrigation strategies.
• Lead, train, and mentor cultivation staff while driving accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor plant health, identify deficiencies or disease pressures, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with all state cannabis regulations, SOPs, and recordkeeping requirements.
