FINO Brands is looking for a Cultivation Manager to support the Director of Cultivation in all cultivation-area operations. A strong background in horticulture and leadership is required, with a willingness to learn daily.

This role will oversee indoor and greenhouse cultivation, IPM, harvesting, and data entry, ensuring quality and production goals are met. The candidate should have 3+ years in a related field, knowledge of cannabis cultivation, and proficiency with Excel/Office tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Agricultural, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis plant (required).
  • Experience in horticulture/plant science/manufacturing/operations with 3–5 years in related role.
  • Capable of working without supervision.
  • Understands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs for specialized areas.
  • Competent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must pass a Level II background check.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Cultivation Director in meeting production goals and quality expectations.
  • Watering plants, applying foliar pest/mold control (IPM), manicuring, cleaning grow areas, propagating/cloning cannabis, transplanting, moving plants through production, harvesting, and data entry.
  • Communicate with Team Leads and assist other areas as needed.
  • Maintain Cultivation areas: Indoor, Greenhouse, IPM, Dry/Cure, QC, Packaging, Inventory.
  • Maintain plant health and good agricultural practices; maintain accurate records and data.
  • Interview, select, train, and evaluate staff; assess productivity and wage adjustments.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

Job description

A Cultivation Manager assists the Director of Cultivation with all activities and operations of the Cultivation Area. Knowledgeable and skilled in cultivation and leadership, but also willing to learn every day. This specialized employee will be accountable for specific areas of operation. Reports to the Cultivation Manager.

  • Responsible for helping the Cultivation Director meet production goals and quality expectations
  • Duties included, but are not limited to: Watering plants, Applying Foliar Applications for pest and mold maintenance (IPM), Manicuring plants, Cleaning grow areas, Propagating cannabis (Cloning), Transplanting cannabis plants, Moving plants through production, Harvesting plants, and Data Entry
  • Communicates with Team Leads and aids in other areas when not working with required daily tasks
  • Cultivation areas include; Indoor and Greenhouse Cultivation, IPM, Dry/Cure, Quality Control, Packaging, and Inventory Control
  • Maintain plant health throughout the cultivation process
  • Maintain good agricultural practices
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data as needed
  • Interviewing, selecting staff, training development & performance management
  • Appraising employee productivity and efficiency & recommending pay adjustment
  • Perform other tasks as required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Agricultural, or related field (preferred)
