Job summary

NorthStone Country Club in Huntersville, NC seeks a Head Golf Professional to oversee all golf operations and member services. You will lead golf shop activities, instruction programs, and tournaments while maintaining high service standards and budget discipline.

The role requires a Class A PGA certification, 5+ years as a Head or equivalent at a private club, and strong leadership and client relations skills to enhance member experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, sports management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Head Golf Professional or equivalent at a private club.
• PGA Class A certification and meets PGA criteria for Head Professional.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily golf operations: tee times, starting procedures, pace of play, practice facilities, on-course services.
• Enforce Rules of Golf, club policies, and operating procedures.
• Oversee the club's handicap system and coordinate with Golf Committee.
• Maintain a visible presence on course and address member/guest concerns.
• Manage golf shop operations, merchandising, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate golf operations personnel.
• Plan and conduct club tournaments, leagues, and golf-related events.
• Coordinate tournament registration, scoring, prizes, and related F&B.
