Job summary

Qualifications

• PGA Membership required.
• Experience as Head Golf Professional or similar leadership role.
• Private club experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tournament operations, instruction, merchandising, handicapping, and golf shop operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop staff.
• Strong interpersonal and member-relations skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Financial understanding of budgeting, labor, inventory, revenue, and expense control.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily golf operations and ensure exceptional member/guest experience.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop staff.
• Maintain strong member relationships across the club.
• Manage tee sheet, pace of play, starting procedures, and flow of play.
• Coordinate member tournaments, leagues, outings, championships, and events.
• Collaborate with directors and other departments to run events.
• Develop and promote golf instruction, clinics, junior golf, and player development.
• Provide individual and group instruction as appropriate.
• Oversee merchandising, purchasing, inventory, displays, orders, and sales.
