Job summary

The Triumph Group (FireRock Country Club) in Fountain Hills, AZ, seeks a Head Golf Course Superintendent to lead the turf, grounds, and equipment teams at the private club.

You will manage agronomy, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control programs, develop annual maintenance plans and budgets with the General Manager, and recruit and coach staff to deliver exceptional playing conditions and a premier guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/associates in agronomy or turf management or related field is required.
• Experience in turf management, greens construction and renovations.
• Strong knowledge of fertilization, pest control, and irrigation practices.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental stewardship standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the 18-hole course and practice areas to ensure top playing conditions.
• Oversee grounds, landscaping, irrigation, fertilization, and pesticide programs.
• Plan maintenance and renovation projects with clear communication to leadership.
• Develop annual budgets for maintenance and capital improvements.
• Lead recruiting, training, and coaching of the turf staff.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and record-keeping for operations.
