Job summary

The Triumph Group (Orangeburg Country Club) in Orangeburg, SC is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to oversee daily course maintenance, grow-in, and project work.

This hands-on leadership role involves budgeting input, agronomic planning, scheduling, chemical calibration and application, irrigation troubleshooting, and mentoring staff.

Candidates should have experience in golf course maintenance, irrigation, pesticide knowledge, and a degree in turf grass management.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf course maintenance and projects.
• Knowledge of chemical pesticides and fertilizers.
• Bachelor’s degree in turf grass management or related field; licensed pesticide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach maintenance staff to ensure timely work.
• Assist in budgeting, agronomic planning, scheduling, and daily turf tasks.
• Oversee chemical applications and irrigation troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety and proper storage of turf equipment.
• Fill in for the Superintendent when needed.
