Job summary

Dickinson Public Schools is seeking a Head Custodian to lead the maintenance team at the Central Office / Hagen Building / Berg Elementary. This 40-hour weekly, 12-month position covers cleaning, snow removal, mowing, and general upkeep to maintain a safe, attractive, and efficient environment for learning.

The role requires the ability to lift, work independently, and occasionally weekend duties. The district offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Head Custodian

Location: Central Office / Hagen Building / Berg Elementary

Hours: 40 hours per week / 12 months per year.

Salary: $20.75 - $25.75 DOE

Must be a team member. Must be able to work well with staff, administrators, students, and parents. Manage and direct general custodians. Maintains the interior and exterior of the school, including but not limited to cleaning, snow removal, mowing, maintenance, etc. Maintains a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient environment in which to learn and develop. Must be able to lift. Will have some weekends depending on the activities scheduled. Must be able to work independently. Other duties as needed and assigned.
