Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group in Las Vegas seeks a Head Coach to lead the Human Performance coaching team, ensuring artists' safety and high-quality acrobatic performances. The role reports to the Artistic leadership and collaborates across coaching and health teams.

You will drive injury risk reduction strategies, oversee training plans, and support coach development while maintaining rigorous documentation and performance standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in physical activity sciences or combination of studies and experience offering both theoretical and practical structure for physical activity, sports, movement and circus arts (e.g. Level 3 NCCP).
  • At least 6 years of experience in group management and training planning; knowledge of circus arts is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; another language is an asset.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure supervision and safety of Artists as part of Human Performance risk management.
  • Partner with Performance Medicine to create and implement Injury Risk Reduction strategies.
  • Follow Governance & Standards set by the Director of Coaching and Coaching Handbook.
  • Create and maintain Artist-centered training progressions and readiness assessments.
  • Develop action plans and monitor Artist progress for informed decisions with management.
