Head Chef
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu creation, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food handling practices.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus.
- Experience in supervising kitchen operations, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding dining experiences.
Job Details
- Type: Full-time
- Salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year
- Additional Pay: Bonus, Tips

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
- Experience: 5 years cooking (preferred)
