Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food following federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes to meet schedules.
2. Serves meals using correct portions, ensuring proper temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all food.
3. Uses established ticket procedures, maintains records during service.
4. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and stores or discards excess food properly.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
8. Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
9. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
11. Performs safely, maintaining a clean work environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
13. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
14. Follows safety policies, including using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
