Job summary

Busch’s is seeking a Cheese Merchandiser to lead the cheese department, manage a team of cheese mongers, curate local and artisanal cheeses, and create eye-catching displays.

The role requires a CCP certification or equivalent, deep cheese knowledge, and proven leadership. You will drive customer engagement through tastings, pairings, and educational initiatives while ensuring food safety and optimal inventory across multiple store locations.

Qualifications

• Certified Cheese Professional (CCP) via American Cheese Society or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of cheeses, origins and pairings.
• Proven leadership to mentor a cheese-team across locations.
• Strong merchandising and display design skills to drive profit.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to proprietary apps.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cheese department and lead a team of cheese mongers.
• Curate diverse local and artisanal cheese selections.
• Design impactful displays and merchandising strategies.
• Educate customers on cheese tastings and pairings.
• Ensure food-safety compliance and proper storage conditions.
