Job summary

Busch’s Inc. is seeking a Cheese Merchandiser to oversee the cheese department, lead a team of cheese mongers, and ensure top quality, display excellence, and strong customer engagement. This role requires certified cheese expertise and proven leadership in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will curate local and artisanal cheeses, manage inventory, design eye-catching displays, educate customers, and collaborate with deli/grocery teams to promote cross-merchandising and event tastings.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Cheese Professional (CCP) from the American Cheese Society or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of cheeses, including types, origins and pairing options.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Exceptional merchandising skills to plan and execute displays that drive profit and interest.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of cheese mongers at multiple locations, providing ongoing training in product knowledge, customer service, and best merchandising practices.
