Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises a staff of coaches and coordinates with athletic director and principals.
• Implements athletic policies approved by the school board and ensures staff adherence.
• Schedules events, transportation, facilities, and maintains equipment and safety protocols.
• Mentors student athletes to develop character traits and promote academics and conduct.
• Oversees student managers and assistants, and handles disciplinary and eligibility issues.
