Job summary
B.H. Inc. is seeking a high-level Horizontal Directional Drill Operator to lead large-scale utility projects across our western U.S. operations, including Utah. You will direct quality on site and work with the HDD Foreman to execute projects with pipe sizes from 6" to 24".
Responsibilities include operating Ditch Witch rigs (JT25, AT60, JT60) and Falcon F5 controls, performing pre-operational checks, and leading pot-holing while maintaining safety compliance. 90% travel is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years HDD Operator experience.
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Expert proficiency with Falcon F5 and Ditch Witch controls.
- Ability to travel 90% of the time (4–6 week stints).
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).
Responsibilities
- Operate HDD rigs (JT25, AT60, JT60) and guide drill bits using Falcon F5.
- Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Lead utility potholing and manage tooling changes for various ground conditions.
- Maintain a proactive, positive, and professional attitude toward site safety.
