Job summary

B.H. Inc. is seeking a high-level Horizontal Directional Drill Operator for our western U.S. operations. The role leads on project sites, directs quality, and works with the HDD Foreman to execute large-scale utility projects.

You will operate Ditch Witch and Falcon F5 tools, perform checks, and drive safety and efficiency on site. Expect a 4/2 rotation, industry-competitive pay, sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of dedicated HDD operator experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Expert proficiency with Falcon F5 and Ditch Witch controls.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time (4–6 week stints).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. with no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD rigs (JT25/AT60/JT60) and guide drill bits with Falcon F5.
• Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Lead utility potholing and manage tooling changes for varying ground conditions.
• Maintain proactive safety and quality compliance on project sites.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an HDD Operator at B.H. Inc., you are a critical leader on our project sites, directing quality and ensuring compliance. You will work directly with the HDD Foreman to execute large-scale utility projects (pipe sizes 6" to 24").
