Job summary

B.H. Inc. is seeking a high-level Horizontal Directional Drill Operator for our western U.S. operations. You will lead project sites, direct HDD work, and ensure quality and safety on large-scale utilities projects (pipe sizes 6" to 24").

Compensation starts at $32.00–$42.00 per hour with experience-based adjustments; a $800 sign-on bonus is offered, plus a reliable 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation and travel per diem, health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k with match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Self-driven professional who can lead with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 3 years of HDD Operator experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Expert proficiency with Falcon F5 and Ditch Witch controls.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time (4–6 week stints).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Operate Ditch Witch rigs (JT25, AT60, JT60) and guide drill bits using the Falcon F5.
• Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Lead utility potholing and manage tooling changes for various ground conditions.
• Maintain a proactive, safe, and professional attitude toward site safety.
