Job summary

PUSH, Inc is seeking an HDD Operator/Locator to install underground utilities using trenchless HDD methods in Northern Wisconsin. The role requires CDL and experience with HDD equipment, reading prints, and coordinating locates.

Travel and field work are common, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will train and support teammates while maintaining equipment and performing setup/cleanup at sites, often under varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) around utilities in rural or urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Experience training and mentoring other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for underground cable conduit or utilities installation.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Operate construction equipment to align, move, and adjust machinery to conform to grade alignment specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide directional drilling data to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor tasks.
• Ensure setup and cleanup of work site, including traffic and pedestrian control.
