Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) in Wisconsin to install underground cables using trenchless HDD methods. You will work with utilities in rural and urban areas, read prints and schematics, and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities include operating bore equipment, maintaining bore profiles, and ensuring safety. A valid Class A CDL is required, with travel as needed and commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Ability to train and mentor other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on the noted job preparations and projections.
• Operate construction equipment to conform to grade alignment specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Adhere to safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate daylighting of facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor tasks.
• Set up and clean up the work site, including traffic control measures.
