Job summary

PUSH, Inc is seeking an experienced HDD Field Operator/Locator for Northern Wisconsin to install underground cables and utilities using HDD trenchless methods. The role requires CDL A, ability to travel away from home, and experience with Vermeer or Ditch Witch units and locating equipment.

Must read prints/schematics, mentor teammates, maintain equipment, and perform safety procedures. This is 100% field work with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics and mentor other team members.
• Experience with Vermeer or Ditch Witch units and locating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide directional drilling data to the customer.
• Abide safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, perform routine greasing and minor repairs.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all aspects of the job including basic labor responsibilities.
• Ensure setup and cleanup of the work site, including traffic and pedestrian control.
