Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is a private premier telecom infrastructure contractor based in Rice Lake, WI, seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD). The role requires experience with HDD around utilities in rural and urban areas, plus a strong ability to read prints and mentor junior crewmembers.

The successful candidate will operate HDD equipment, ensure proper steering, and maintain bore profiles while following safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Ability to train and mentor crew members.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Operate equipment to align and adjust machinery to conform to grade alignment specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customer.
• Abide safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, and perform routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with all job tasks including basic labor responsibilities.
• Set up and clean up the work site, including traffic and pedestrian control.
