Job summary

McKesson seeks a senior Lead, HCM M&A Portfolio & Delivery to steer HCM technology activities across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs from due diligence through implementation and stabilization.

As a senior individual-contributor, you will partner with HR, Payroll, HCM Technology, Architecture, Security, and external partners to deliver comprehensive HCM solutions. The role emphasizes matrixed collaboration, risk-aware planning, and successful post-close transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, HR, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in HCM technology, enterprise applications, ERP, technology delivery, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs through matrixed teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise HCM ecosystems, including Workday, Payroll, integrations, identity/security, and downstream applications.
• Experience managing program scope, schedules, financials, risks, dependencies, testing, cutover, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead HCM technology due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs with cross-functional teams.
• Define Day 1, transitional, and target-state requirements across HR data, HCM platforms, payroll, integrations, and access.
• Drive HCM technology delivery from transaction initiation through implementation and stabilization.
• Maintain the integrated HCM delivery plan with milestones, risks, resources, and financials.
• Coordinate delivery across internal teams, implementation partners, vendors, and managed-service providers.
• Lead decisions, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and elevate material risks with clear recommendations.
