Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Registered Nurse for Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) to deliver direct Veteran care and coordinate services across the HBPC program.

The role requires licensure as a registered nurse in the United States, plus completion of an approved nursing program. The incumbent will oversee nursing staff and ensure evidence-based practices are applied in patient care.

Qualifications

• English Language Proficiency is required and must be proficient in written and spoken English.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in an applicable US state/territory or DC.
• Graduate of a nursing program approved by ACEN or CCNE; foreign-educated nurses require degree equivalency validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based care to HBPC patients.
• Coordinate care with licensed nursing staff and other care team members.
• Oversee nursing staff and support integration of care across HBPC program.
