Job summary

Clean Harbors is looking for Hazmat Technicians to join our safety-conscious team. This entry-level role involves performing waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility, chemical bulking and consolidation, and packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.

This position is entry level, but leaders have started here; you’ll receive training and support to succeed and advance your career.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to pass background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups at a customer’s facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer sites as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring safe loading/unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
