Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking Hazmat Technicians to join a safety‑minded team in a dynamic on-site role. You’ll stay active and learn about science while working directly with customers to collect and manage waste at customer facilities.

This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training, company‑provided equipment, and growth opportunities as you advance your career in environmental services across the United States.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer’s site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
