Job summary

Clean Harbors is looking for a Hazmat Decontamination Technician to join our safety-conscious team at client sites. This entry-level role involves waste pickups, chemical bulking, labeling for compliance, and assisting with spill response.

You will receive training, opportunities for growth, and company-supported benefits. A valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo background checks are required. The job is on-site at customer facilities with company-provided vehicles and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

QUALIFICATIONS
