Job summary

Clean Harbors in Location is seeking a Field Services Technician I to support hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in the field. Please note: new hires attend a two week Academy training out of state, expenses paid by the company.

Starting pay is $20-$22/hr with comprehensive health benefits after 30 days of full-time employment and 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be on-call for emergency response; may work weekends/holidays.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Pass background check, drug test, and medical exam as applicable.
• Comply with OSHA Respiratory Protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Health and Safety in all tasks.
• Engage in physical labor and operate tools and equipment.
• Work with PPE and in varying temperatures and environments.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and work in confined spaces as needed.
• Attend compliance and safety update meetings.
