Clean Harbors in West Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. The role covers hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in field settings.

New hires will attend a two-week out-of-state Academy training, with expenses covered by the company. Starting pay is $21–$23/hr with comprehensive benefits after 30 days of full-time employment, including a 401(k) with company match, tuition

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• Emergency response on-call including weekends/holidays; may exceed 8 hours.
• Background check, drug test, and physical required by position.
• OSHA respiratory protection standards compliance (facial hair restrictions).
• Previous relevant labor experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and acting safely.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand/power tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and other protection.
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and access tanks or containers.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Remediate sites and handle hazardous materials as assigned.
