Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for hazardous materials.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Proficient with dispatch software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate drivers for transportation of chemicals and bulk materials; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes considering traffic, weather, and delivery windows.
• Serve as main point of contact between drivers, customers, and the company; provide updates.
• Monitor safety procedures and regulatory compliance for hazardous materials.
• Maintain records of dispatches, driver logs, and incidents; communicate issues to management.
• Prepare reports on fleet performance, delivery timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
