Job summary

IFB Solutions in Tampa, FL is seeking a Hazardous Materials Coordinator responsible for safe storage, handling, and distribution of hazardous materials in full regulatory compliance. This role includes overseeing inventory control, enforcing safety protocols, and providing training to employees on proper HAZMAT procedures to reduce risks and maintain a safe work environment.

The coordinator also performs regular audits to ensure regulatory adherence and operational safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation for goods received and shipped; update chemicals in EESOH-MIS.
• Ensure loading and vehicle operations comply with DOT, OSHA and Hazmat rules.
• Complete paperwork timely for receiving and shipping daily.
• Handle loading/unloading and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate, timely, safe product deliveries.
• Keep MSDS sheets current and update processes as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment to manage inventory.
• Pack and prepare product for shipment and coordinate with customers on delivery placement.
• Keep vehicles and warehouse tidy and compliant with safety rules.
• Adhere to all company and customer safety requirements.
• Maintain regular attendance.
