Job summary

Daniels Health in Walton, KY is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class B license to service our healthcare customers. You will operate a 26 ft box truck, collect sharps and medical waste containers, and deliver excellent service with safety and DOT compliance in mind.

The role is full-time with traditional daytime hours, competitive pay at $25.00 per hour, and opportunities for overtime. You will communicate clearly, meet time schedules, and maintain professional customer relations

Qualifications

• Class B license with clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Touch freight experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26 ft box truck in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load and unload and organize truck per schedule needs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Walton, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
