Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a customer-focused Driver with a Class B license to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Walton, KY area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver excellent service daily.

Position offers full-time hours (40–50 per week) with benefits, OT opportunities, and a non-negotiable hourly rate of $25.00. Employment is direct-hire with stable, year-round work.

Qualifications

• Class B license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Passing the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Walton, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• Touch freight experience!!!
