Job summary

Clean Harbors in High Point, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of trucks at customer sites, supporting hazardous waste cleanup both on and off sites. The role includes loading/unloading, log maintenance, and compliance with DOT regulations.

The position offers an hourly range of $25.00–$30.00, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid throughout the first year. New hires attend a two-week training academy; travel expenses are covered and per diem is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use mobile devices for communication and job updates.
• Must pass background check, drug test and medical exam where applicable.
• Comply with OSHA respirator standards as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks safely and in DOT compliance.
• Load/unload cargo; assist field laborers as needed.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and reports daily.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Handle hazardous materials and on-site decontamination as assigned.
