Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Leland, NC seeks a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll-offs, with on- and off-site duties for hazardous waste cleanup.

Safety is the priority; you will be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis. Two-week training is provided, with benefits after 30 days, including 401K with company match and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks and load/unload.
• Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
• Proper placarding to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations and safety guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Site remediation support and handling hazardous materials as needed.
