Job summary

Clean Harbors in North Amityville, NY is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to operate light and heavy-duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers and high-powered vacuum loaders.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, log keeping, and DOT compliance while delivering safe, reliable service. Training academy and travel with per diem support are provided. Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with ability to operate manual transmission.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required or obtainable.
• Ability to use mobile devices for logs and reporting.
• Must pass background check, drug test and medical/physical where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B trucks and support field laborers in a team setting.
• Load and unload trucks and ensure customer satisfaction at service time.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports in compliance with DOT rules.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations and safety guidelines.
• Be available on-call for emergency response on rotating schedule.
