Job summary

Linde plc. in Illinois seeks a local delivery driver to support customers by making 10–12 stops daily, handling freight, and completing paperwork with high-quality service. You will ensure DOT compliance and safety checks are performed on every trip.

Requirements include a high school diploma, two years of driving experience or Truck Driving School certification, a valid CDL with hazmat endorsement, passing a DOT physical, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. 21+ years old required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL required with hazmat endorsement.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, handling freight and paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous materials shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify needed repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
