Job summary

Rock Island, IL — Linde plc is seeking a delivery driver to support local customers. You will complete 10–12 stops per day, touch freight, and handle paperwork while delivering excellent customer service.

You must hold a Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement, be 21+, pass a DOT medical exam, and lift up to 75 pounds. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years driving experience or Truck Driving School certificate.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, touching freight and completing paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers as required by DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with customers to meet business goals.
• Learn how Linde operates to help the organization grow.
