Job summary

Linde plc. is seeking a dependable delivery driver in California to safely transport products, make 10–12 stops daily, and provide excellent customer service while handling freight and paperwork.

You will comply with DOT hazmat and CDL requirements, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and contribute to a reliable distribution network through strong relationships and ongoing learning about Linde’s operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with reading and writing proficiency in English.
• Two years driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification with CDL.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No major incidents or violations in the past two years; 21+ years old.
• Pass DOT physical and maintain medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day, while handling freight, paperwork, and customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to support growth.

Skills

Two years trucking experience
