Job summary

Clean Harbors in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll-offs. You will perform driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste cleanup.

Typically Monday through Friday with start around 6 am; 8–10+ hour days, overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required at hire.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred; able to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to operate diverse Class A trucks and related equipment.
• Comfort with using mobile devices for logging and reporting.
• Must pass background, drug test, and medical exam per position.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Load and unload trucks and perform on-site manual labor.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets.
• Follow DOT and company safety and environmental guidelines.
• Be available for emergency response on rotating schedule.
